Uses:

TBHP is one of the most commonly used initiators of free radical reactions, characterized by good thermal stability, safe to use, easy to control, below 40 ℃, its activity in three months without significant changes, and without the need for costly freezing storage, can be used in emulsion polymerization, aqueous polymerization, curing and joint technology polymerization and other fields, in many aspects of performance.

The decomposition products of TBHP are mainly tert-butanol and a small amount of acetone, etc., which are non-corrosive and do not require high equipment requirements. Most of the other initiators will form acidic by-products.

TBHP is also widely used as an initiator for the polymerization of styrene, acrylic acid and methacrylic acid.

TBHP is a vulcanizing agent for natural rubber. It can be used to improve the cetane number of diesel fuel. It is also a very important organic synthesis intermediate, which has special selectivity and high yield for epoxidation, and is a very important oxidant.

Storage conditions:

Keep the package closed and in good ventilation, the maximum storage temperature is 40℃, avoid and reducing agents such as amines, acids, alkalis, heavy metal compounds (promoters and metal soaps), strictly prohibited in the warehouse

Fire extinguishing:
